Shift work cover
Whether our clients need cover to cope with short or long term sickness, annual leave cover, a lengthy recruitment process issues or you are just experiencing an increase in work load, PCS can provide Engineering support 7 days per week 365 days of the year for all trades on any shift required.
Major unit changes
Engine, Transmission and Axle changes are all part of the daily routine for PCS Engineers. With our ZF Service Partnership and Support Partnerships with Cummins and BYD any type of work is covered.
Major unit repairs
PCS employs engineers experienced in the maintenance and repairs of Mercedes, Volvo, Cummins, DAF, ZF and Voith Products as well as many more. Our Engineers highly skilled in undertaking bespoke repairs as specified.
Contract maintenance
PCS has and continues to provide Engineers and Supervisors to carry out contract maintenance for Operators, professionally managed by PCS.
Campaign work
Campaigns are being undertaken regularly by our engineers whatever the task and being professionally managed to completion.
Warranty work for manufacturers
As an agent for many of the industries vehicle and component manufacturers PCS is able to carry out warranty work on their behalf as and when required.
PSV inspections, audits & vehicle PDIs
PCS engineers are available to carry out routine inspections, Pre-delivery Inspections and Pre-purchase inspections. With the majority of all PCS engineers being IRTEC Bus and Coach Inspection Technician accredited you get the peace of mind the highest standards are being achieved.
Shift supervision
Many of PCS’s engineers have workshop Supervisory experience within the bus and coach industry. Many of the large UK Operators have used and continue to use our highly skilled engineers to provide Supervisory cover.
Diagnostic work; electrical, fuel, engines & transmissions
Using the latest diagnostic equipment, ZF Testman, Cummins Insight, Eclipse Jal Test. PCS can provide Technicians for Electrical, Fuel & Transmission diagnostics and repair work on most types of vehicles.
Fixed price work
Many repairs can be carried out on a fixed price basis. Unit changes, General repairs, Campaign work and Inspections are just a sample of the types of work that PCS Engineers can undertake on a fixed price basis with no hidden charges.
Hybrid/electric vehicles & general electrical work
PCS has a team of Technicians dedicated to Bus and Coach High Voltage trained to enable then to decommission, carry out any necessary repairs and recommission the vehicle with all due care for Health & Safety. Our Electricians electrical technicians can carry out diagnostics and repairs, fault finding, rewires where necessary.
Coach building and body repairs
Accident repairs, Campaign work, MOT preparations and modifications can all be undertaken by PCS’s very experienced team of Coach Builders.
