Job vacancy: Technical Trainer/Engineer
Training has become an integral part of what we do at Paul Clark Services and with the ever-increasing numbers of electric and other new technology vehicles in the UK bus fleet we are seeking to recruit a dedicated Technical Trainer/Engineer to join our team.
This new position will be providing technical training for both clients and Paul Clark Services engineering resource working alongside our National Engineering Auditor in managing, delivering, and assessing candidates to certification and providing engineering support as required.
Key skills and requirements:
- Industry training experience (preferably with LE Vehicles), however training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Good understanding of diagnostic systems and equipment, however training can be provided to the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Prepared to travel with some nights away
The successful candidate would receive an excellent renumeration package commensurate with qualifications and experience, with the opportunity to further their career, skills, and qualifications.

Assessment milestone for Jack
After a difficult 18 Months and a lack of classroom training. PCS apprentice Jack Hickford finally passed his End Point Assesment and was rewarded with a new Snap On tool box from the Directors at Paul Clark Services. Thanks Steve Handrick for the great deal.
Jack is a great lad and we hope to see him shine as he continues his development.
Job vacancy: Business Support Manager
Due to continued business growth and an internal promotion, Paul Clark Services Ltd is seeking to recruit a highly experienced Manager to join the business, working alongside the present team supporting PCS’s clients with a dynamic approach to CRM. Liaising with both client and engineering resource the manager will be responsible for Project and Resource management, supporting engineers to achieve high quality workmanship, productivity and a reliable engineering support service to our clients ensuring that health, safety and environmental policies and standards are always adhered to. This role will require a considerable amount of travel with the odd night away to achieve the required level of support our clients expect.
The applicant should possess excellent communication skills, be able to develop and maintain accurate records, produce details reports and analysis of work completed, carry out occurrence and incident investigations producing detailed synopsis with recommendations. You must be in possession of an appropriate engineering qualification, have worked in the bus and coach or Heavy vehicle industry for at least 5 years and be a member of the SOE/ IRTE or equivalent professional body and hold a full UK driving licence. A competitive renumeration package will be offered to the successful candidate, including an excellent salary, company pension scheme and car user allowance.
